In this presentation, the factors influencing the change in fuel quality are listed. Transportation trends and world oil demand is also discussed and finally an overview of the fuel quality in different regions are given in detail together with the directions which it is moving to.
This paper discusses the global concern of smog and greenhouse gases and what is being done to rectify this problem. It proposes three solutions i.e. oxygenated gasoline, NG based fuels and fuel cells. The benefits of each solution is discussed with the practicality and cost of each solution investigated in detail. It also talks about the US oxygenate experience, the lessons learned, and stresses the importance of clean fuels in Asia.
